Hey Y’all.

so i’ve been tweeting about this fellow named chuck for a lil’ while and thought i would start a whole chuck blog (: chuck is this fellow that lives in my bathroom and has been for a few weeks. he is sensitive to light and air flow. he is a slight brown color and eats bugs…like the rolly-polly kind. chuck is a spider. i love him and he keeps me company while i’m in the bathroom. i really don’t know what kind of spider he is but once i get a good picture i will need some help identifying.  he wants everyone to have a good day and tells everyone “mazeltov.”

i’m over it. i understand that it’s faster and blahblahblah. but srsly. i’m perfectly content with my moderately fast iPhone 3G (2nd gen. obviously) and it was like so unnecessary. like it’s so lame to be like “i have the new iPhone 3Gs which is exactly like your phone but without a video camera…OMG and a compass.” wow. you have fun while i wait for a REAL update to occur with the iPhone. but anywho, while we’re on the iPhone kick, i totally think you should buy one bc it becomes your life…in a pocketsized phonething.

i’ve had mine for a year and i still love it to death.

this month i have the SAT, the APUSH exam, and APLAC exam.

i cant stop studying.  it’s too much.

my brain is going to explode.

i’ve been mighty busy. i’m getting ready for the sat’s, the apush and aplac exams, and practicing piano and singing nonstop. i got a slight break yesterday when i went to the andy warhol museum in pitt again for like the 3rd time. it was amazing. they had the darth vader traveling exhibit there and it had about 50 different designs of darth vader masks with different themes. i think my favorite non-warhol exhibit was “kung fu.” it was ridiculous. omg. i was speechless. anyway. i’ll try to keep ya’ll update a little better…

yesterday i went and performed at the maryland solo and ensemble festival.
i sang danza, danza fancuilla which was a lvl. 5 and it was reallly fun.
the judge gave me a I+

as in a ONE PLUS.

i was really excited. i still am.
i’m taking it to state’s if it doesn’t conflict.

that lil’ picture of rihanna floating around the interwebz after being beaten up by chris brown is completely heartbreaking. i don’t know rihanna or chris personally but all i know is that someone or something jacked her up. i not only felt bad as soon as i saw the picture because of what happened but because i put myself in the perspective of her…and having MY picture lookin’ busted all over the internet. i think people should figure out what is going on in their own lives before they start worrying about how “bad” or whatever she may have looked. it’s sad and something obviously needs to be done to brown for treating a woman like that AND to get that picture of off the internet. rihanna is one of the most beautiful women i have ever seen and she should be kept that way. her inner beauty obviously is reflected on her outer beauty and it just makes me sad to see her in such bad condition and to see people so intent on viewing the picture/getting the picture out to damage rihanna’s reputation.

brown should be punished.

so fort hill is doing sweeney todd this year as the musical. this, by far, has to be the toughest music i have ever seen/heard in my whole life.
i hope for everyone to come and see it (:
we are 1 out of 40 high schools in the nation allowed to perform this play. i’m not sure if south cumberland is even ready for this. mr. thompson has already recieved letters and such about how bad the play is; people don’t even know. they base their judgement off of the movie which was gory and and very graphic. the play has a very close story line with a little more twisted psycotic behavior and so much less blood. there might not even be a use of blood in our production. i encourage you to come see fort hill’s ground breaking performance from the happy money-making shows, such as footloose and grease, into our newer, challenging, show with an actual meaning…sweeney todd.
the dates are april 2-5.

today was so bad. it started out yesterday by finding out my terrible SAT score of 1660. wow. then today, i got caught checking the time on m’iPhone and got sent to the office to get 2 days detention that i’m probably not going to serve. when i went into the office there are usually 5 chairs, i went to sit down on one of them and guess what!? the chair i went to sit in wasn’t there making me fall on the ground and look retarded. then i went to the ymca to work out and the machines were shocking me through my iPhone. i’m guessing the electirc current went through my phone, through the headphones, then finally reaching my ears. it sucked. then i went grocery shopping and grabbed a box of kashi bars (which i don’t advise anyone to try unless they are craving cardboard and chocolate) and i dropped the box onto the ground making all of the granola bars fall onto the ground.
maybe i’m supersticious.
maybe it’s the actual curse of the day “friday the 13th”
maybe i am just a mess today.
it doesnt matter. today has been terrible but for now…
im going to do one of my fav. activities, burgundy brigade, and tomorrow im getting a heart-shaped pizza to sulk in my valentine’s day loneliness with olivia.

this is the dress that she wanted but didn't end up buying. its cute.

well today i went with my friends katy and olivia to pittsburgh to get a dress for this dance coming up on saturday. we went to like 10 different stores and finally found a lot of cute dresses at this nice lil’ store called cache. they had some cute stuff and a ton of not cute stuff but we selected like 5 dresses to be tried on. we found this awesome dress but it wasn’t the right size so we were going to have it rush ordered for saturday. so we left and told the woman working we would come back.
wrong.
we took a lil’ trip to macy’s department store and found the SAME EXACT dress in the right sizing for 100 dollars cheaper. what is cache trying to do? maybe they should get some incentive and scope out the neighboring competition before trying to overcharge people for a moderately cute dress. i would honestly like to put a sign outside of cache and be like “oh, hey. there are ton more dresses at macy’s. OH. and they’re way cheaper there too.”
but anyway. we got a dress at macy’s but it wasn’t the one we originally wanted but it’s way cuter. olivia and i will look awesome for the dance this saturday.
moral of the story. beware of over priced dresses. check macy’s.

well. this is my first blog so i’m pretty much going to ramble about myself. i’m african american…obviously.  my real name is william harrison evans iv. i’m pretty smart academically. i love music and it honestly is my life, other than tennis and school. i sing in 3 choirs, play piano, and am first chair saxophone. i used to be a cheerleader and i think i’m going to cheer for football season next year because that’s pretty much the only thing i miss about it. andy warhol is my favorite artist ever.  i need to get into university of maryland or my life will be over. it scares me because i don’t think that my SAT score will even be high enough, therefore making my chances of getting in there much less. nathan ryan king is my bestfran. olivia ashton brant is my wife. heath lewis naylor is a major part of my life. if you know me, then you know why. but anywho. that’s it. i’m probably going to write a blog later but this is just to get me started.
